The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-Earth is a multiplayer/strategy mobile game developed by Kabam, with involvement from Warner Bros. The game is free-to-play. It was made to help promote the movie, and it's been out since November. But its the best of its kind.
Elves or Dwarves? This game reminds me of old empirecraft, except it is so much better.
Start out by building up your basic provisions and resources. Farms, mines, mills, ect. Then you start to make some unique buildings. You research a few things, get a feel for the game, then you build up a small army. Then the fun starts.
Create massive armies measured by might to fight others around you and from afar. Unless you're a total prick you'll find your way into an alliance and soon be trading resources and gold. Sending each other your enemies coordinates to make them pay for their crimes.
The best part is it's a constant game. You never quit and your never not playing. Building takes time, so train your soldiers as you sleep, build up your watch tower while your in school.
Tips:
- Name your city something you'll like; you can name it for free only once.
- Same with your username.
- Don't attack wilds until your might is twice theirs.
- Listen to Gandalf.
- Upgrade your vault.
- Have many barracks.
- Don't bother with the wall for defense, only upgrade it to upgrade your keep.
- Always keep your resources below your protection limit, so they can never be stolen.
- Don't spend your free Mithril right away, wait for a sale on a chest you like.
- Never cancel constructions or training; the game will return little over half the resources you spent. A total waste
And when 7 days are up, be prepared to defend yourself...
This game is available for free on Android and iOS
