Batman: Arkham Origins has been announced on Gameinformer, to be released on October 25th, 2013, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U (no word yet on next gen. support). Besides being the source for a sick gameinformer cover, Batman: Arkham Origins is sporting a whole new development team: Rocksteady Studios has passed the torch to Warner Bros. Games Montreal.
If you're not a fan of prequels, tough luck, because this game takes place years before the other Arkham installments. "It stars a young, unrefined Batman." The game will feature many of Batman's first encounters with his foes, including the infamous Deathstroke.
Origins will be running on the Unreal engine, so graphics will be sweet. And gameplay? Probably all over the next GI issue, and maybe at E3.
